As well as travel (my biggest passion, I'm a travel writer and I have a travel agency business), I enjoy poetry slams (and performing my own poetry - a recent development but one I'm loving!), walking my dog and the great outdoors, and trying out adventurous new experiences (even if I end up being rubbish at them!!).

In terms of my 'travel style' (as it's such a big part of my life) I like off the beaten track but I love luxury. I keep trying to like camping - and keep failing :-) Much prefer comforts than living under a nylon cover!

My social life is increasingly becoming focused around theatre, poetry events, arthouse film and other interesting, cultural stuff - as opposed to clubbing - I can't be bothered waiting half an hour to get a drink at the bar! But I haven't hung up my spangly dancing heels just yet! And I do like nice, trendy bars - and eating out!

I'm looking for light-hearted fun and friendship with self-assured and confident guys in the first instance, because I think life shouldn't be taken too seriously...
