About This Dating Event

At this speed dating event in Torquay, you will receive a warm welcome from the friendly hosts, who will be signing singles into the event from 7.15pm. Once all the speed dating participants have arrived, the hosts will explain how the evening will run. Single ladies will then head to their assigned table. The single men will then start at their first table. Singles are given a few minutes to meet and chat, before a bell is rung by the hosts, and the single men then move onto the next table. The hosts provide a break half way through the dating event, for a toilet stop or trip to the bar. The speed dating normally lasts around 2 hours, or until all single men have visited all the tables. Guests are then free to stay on at the venue and continue mingling.

Rock Garden only opened a couple of years ago but has quickly become the place to be. This is due in part to us having the largest outdoor space in Torquay town. The garden has to be seen to be believed, during the summer you can soak up the sun while enjoying our food, jugs of Pimms or even our extensive range of freshly prepared cocktails. In the evening the Rock Garden really comes into its own having recently built an amazing stage to showcase our fantastic live music every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
