Last Text Messages
Ok so this isn’t quite the usual dating advice that you get from us at Urban Social but it is based on relationships and I think that you’ll find it interesting.
The last time you text with someone — whether the conversation is funny, mundane or biting — can be haunting.
Emily Trunko, 15, is the curator behind the Tumblr The Last Message Received, which is dedicated to the final texts users received from exes, former friends and even deceased love ones.
The screenshots are taken and submitted by people who simply heard no more! Some are simply banal comments, other’s are heartbreaking and others are down right harsh (for example; I don’t love you anymore).
Trunko, who also runs the anonymous letter Tumblr Dear My Blank, told BuzzFeed that she started The Last Message because she’s “always been fascinated with glimpses into the lives of other people.”
She went on to explain that the Tumblr has made her more aware of her own daily communications with loved ones.
“Every message I send to them could be the last one I ever exchange, and every message I receive could be the last one I receive,” she said.
You may want to grab a box of tissues because some are REALLY sad. Click here to read…
