Great British Bake Off Inspired Dates
Seriously, can you believe that Nancy managed to pull off a win on last nights Great British Bake Off? We’ve managed to dry our teas and put down the slab of cake but we are still campaigning for justice for Louis! Even though it has only been a day we are already missing Mary Berry and the crew.
So we thought we’d compile 5 of the TOP Great British Bake Off inspired dates…
1. The Chocolate Festival…December isn’t just the month where we celebrate Christmas, it’s also the month that there’s a great, big, chocolate festival right in the heart of London. That’s right, a festival…of chocolate. What better place to go on a date? Wrap up warm and head to Business Design centre in Islington for a day of hot chocolate and other chocolatey treats.
2. Afternoon Tea…A good afternoon tea is a real memorable experience. Whatever your budget there’s a pile of cakes and sandwiches with your name on it. Check out voucher sites such as Groupon and Living Social to find some great deals.
3. Chocolate making workshop…So it seems that we are a bit chocolate mad today, but what better way to bond with someone than over a good bit of chocolate making? And the best thing is, if you don’t hit it off then you’ll have a stash of choccie to console yourself with afterwards.
4. Coffee and a Cake…It may be simple but it’s effective. Head to your favourite, intimate coffee shop and treat your beau to a slice of their favourite cake along with a steamy hot latte. It’s perfect to keep the winter chills at bay and also a lovely indulgent treat that won’t break the bank.
5. Your place…Why not show off your skills and get in the kitchen to cook for your date. A bottle of wine and some delicious tear and share bread for two and you could very well make it a night to remember.
Now it’s your turn. Tell us your GBBO inspired dates…
