Here are four, wallet friendly date night ideas that will guarantee a relaxing, mellow weekend.
Get your game on. Board games aren’t just for kids. You can turn an ordinary board game in to a flirty competition. Monopoly, connect four, buckaroo – your choice but make up your own rules and have a bit of fun.
Cook up a storm. Who says you need to go out to be wined and dined. Get in the kitchen and channel your inner Nigella to come up with a meal that rival your favourite restaurant. If you’re spending the whole weekend together then you could take it in turns to cook and score your meals.
Film night. Seriously, who really wants to sit in a cold, sticky cinema with a bunch of strangers when you could snuggle on the sofa with the fire roaring and your favourite actor on the screen courtesy of Netflix? Make a big batch of popcorn and settle in for the night.
Have a dance off. A few drinks and a dance doesn’t have to just happen when you’re out on the town. Create your own playlist on spotify, pour yourself a large wine and get moving. You’ll have fun and there’s opportunity to get a little R rated with a sexy strip tease.
