Bristol is one of those cities that has it all. So it’s the perfect place to take a date. Here are our top 5 dating hotspots for Bristol.

Monkey Around. Treat your date to a day at the zoo. Bristol Zoo Gardens is more than just amazing animals it’s a beautiful 12 acre space full of lush gardens, tropical birds and an added advantage of an adventure playgrounds that’s not just for the kids. Pack a picnic and after you’ve walked around visiting the inhabitants of the zoo relax and get to know each other in the stunning grounds.

Guarantee yourself a hug. Bristol is an OLD city which means there’s lots of rich history and super natural goings on. So take your date on a ghost walk and find out all about “haunted” pubs and churches that line this cities streets. Plus, if your date gets too scared you can step in an offer a warm, comforting cuddle.

Get high. NO not like that. But take a trip across the Clifton Suspension Bridge.The bridge which was built by Brunel is a breathtaking site. Spanning the Avon Gorge you’ll get an amazing view of the whole area. Head to the Bristol Observatory at Bristol Down for views you’ll fall in love with.

Get on the river. Bristol is set alongside the most amazing River Avon. Take the Bristol Packet Boat trip to Bath which will take in the suspension bridge, the new harbour side and will sail off in to the Bristol channel. Certainly beats the traditional dinner and a date.

Get cultured. Head to the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery. The museum homes everything from T-Rex skeletons to stuffed animals right through to some of the most exquisite art work. Plus once you’ve taken in some of the amazing talking points of the museum you could pop across the road to the Bristol Marriott Hotel for a Royal High Tea.
