5 Annoying Bed Habits
Sharing a bed at the beginning is a great feeling! Snuggling up, talking until late and late night sex sessions can be exciting when you first start staying over. However, as the relationship develops and contentment starts to set in then the bad habits start to rear their ugly heads.
Sharing a bed can be the end of many relationships, especially if you’ve been single for a while and have come to value your own space in the bedroom.
Here are the top 5 annoying bed habits that new couples have to try and avoid!
Snoring
NO one likes a snorer. Whether you’ve been together a day or 10 years, snoring is the most common gripe amongst couples. In fact, it’s actually cited as a top reason for divorce. If you know you snore at night (and if you do and you’ve ever shared a bed then I’m sure you’ve been told!) then try remedies including nose strips, sprays and herbal options so that you avoid any digs in the ribs from your partner.
Tossing and Turning
Unfortunately, we’re not talking about some new sex craze but instead fidgeting in bed. Sleeping with someone whose constantly turning back and forth can be beyond annoying if you’re trying to get some much needed shut eye. If you want to avoid this annoying bed habit then avoid booze, coffee and sugar before bed to allow you to relax properly and fall in to a deep slumber.
Talking!
Are you a bit of a chatterbox? This is all very well if you’re chewing the fat over a nice bottle of chablis but if you’re muttering in your sleep then you’re going to be keeping your partner wide awake – not to mention potentially disclosing any secrets. There’s not much that can be done about this so if you know that you’re a sleep talker, maybe buy your partner a pair of ear plugs as a compromise.
Socks!
There is nothing worse than having freezing cold feet when you get in to bed, although warming them up on your parter is the best (and quickest way of remedying that). BUT it’s our experience that people don’t seem to like it. If you DO wear socks to bed to avoid that cold feet feeling, make sure that you slip them off before you nod off and especially before you get down to any dirty business. Wearing socks in bed is a serious turn off!
Hogging the covers
Don’t be selfish with the duvet, especially if it’s cold!! If you’re a classic duvet hogger and you don’t want to give your partner the cold shoulder then we suggest that you rush right out and get a king sized duvet so there’s enough cover for both of you.
