Fancy a fix of fresh air whilst watching a top blockbuster? Well, a trip to an open air cinema should be at the top of your list.

Rooftop film club – London
Classing themselves as the KINGS of rooftop cinema, these events are high above the streets of the capital. The club runs screenings at venues in Peckham, Shoreditch, Stratford and Kensington. Fresh food, barbecues and film-themed cocktails are on hand, while free ponchos are available should it rain. This summer you can catch classics such as The Goonies, The Big Lebowski, Top Gun and When Harry Met Sally alongside newer releases such as The Danish Girl. Cinema classics such as Jaws and Dirty Dancing will be shown on Brighton Beach. The screen is set up just east of Brighton Pier and the family-friendly events will run even if there is wet weather.

Burghley Film Festival
What better backdrop to enjoy some alfresco cinema than the grand stately home of Burghley House. Held in the mansion’s picturesque gardens there will be five days of films consisting of some traditional films such as Pretty Woman and Ghost Busters. Deckchairs are available to hire, so you can watch a movie in comfort.
